About us

All accepted doctoral candidates at the University of Hohenheim are members of the Graduate Council. It represents the interests of all doctoral students at the university and deals with

• doctoral regulations
• issues relating to the legal and social status of doctoral students
• forms of doctoral studies
• working conditions
• financing and scholarships

Furthermore, it promotes interdisciplinary networking among doctoral students.

Once a year the Graduate Council Board is elected. The board coordinates the work of the graduate council and represents its members externally and informs the doctoral candidates about current events.
