What are the Faculty Councils?

The Faculty Council is responsible for all matters of the faculty that concern research and teaching and for which the Dean, the Faculty Board or the management of the academic assigned to the faculties are not responsible.

Tasks

• Approval of Structure and Development Plans (SEPs) of the faculties
• The formation, modification and abolition of faculty institutions
• Adoption of study and examination regulations of the faculty
• Recommendation for professorship appointments
• Co-option of new faculty members
